Skin whitening treatment and Pigmentation

Uneven distribution of a substance called Melanin in the skin results in pigmentation. The result of uneven melanin distribution is abnormal discoloration of the skin that is visible in the form of color contrasts such as dark skin (Hyperpigmentation) or very light skin (Hypopigmentation) that is prone to UV rays of the sun. The different causes for pigmentation can be excessive exposure to the sun, surgical procedures, environmental factors and heredity.

We have a variety of skin care treatments that are used for skin whitening and brightening. This results in treating the uneven skin tone effectively, leading to a uniform skin tone.

Hyperpigmentation

This is a skin condition when skin becomes darker in patches as compared to the surrounding areas of skin. Hyperpigmentation is caused due to excess melanin production.

Treating hyperpigmentation

The most common ways to treat hyperpigmentation are mentioned below:

Protect from Sun: You can protect the skin from sun by using a sunscreen with SPF of 30 or higher.

Do not do picking at the skin: Avoid picking the skin after an injury or at spots, scabs, and acne. This picking causes hyperpigmentation.

Use skin lightening creams
